Monitor and Evaluation

Monitor and evaluation support

Monitoring and evaluation procedures should employ optimal systems to consistently assess the efficacy of emergency communication responses. This entails identifying areas requiring refinement or enhancement and determining if the current system aligns with the objectives pursued by our partners.

Monitoring constitutes our ongoing assistance, involving the systematic gathering and analysis of data to facilitate prompt decision-making, thorough examination of action plan priorities, verification of adherence to institutional or organizational agendas in executing work plans, ensuring accountability and furnishing foundational reports

for learning and developmental endeavors.

The Evaluation phase serves as a subsequent step following monitoring activities. It assesses the attained level of success and gauges the likelihood of achieving anticipated outcomes. Utilizing rigorous studies and dependable methodologies, it evaluates the extent to which work plan objectives have been met. Through this process, valuable insights are gained to inform future action plans and mitigate ineffective practices.

Why it’s important to have M&E in conflict resolution plans?

Through both the monitoring and evaluation processes, we can conduct a thorough review to determine the effectiveness of the resolution plan and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, these processes help us assess when adjustments to the plan are necessary and pinpoint potential project risks, allowing us to manage them effectively and minimize their adverse impact.

Through the M&E process, we can develop and recognize risks and challenges as they develop and adjust the implementation strategy as necessary to achieve the project goal.
