CONFLICT ANAYSIS STUDIES

Insightful study analysis is an essential method to any conflict management process, from preventing conflict to mediation to reconciliation support. Research and analysis studies can determine the effectiveness of conflict resolution plans and peace-building strategies by understanding the conflict’s context and its dynamics.

Highlighting the conflict’s key drivers, impact and consequences will help us as IFCRBP and our partners to understand the potential trajectories of a conflict situation so we can develop effective peacebuilding strategies, prevent possible harm from being done and enable us to construct concrete resolution plans by prioritizing the development projects to support the people in utmost need.

Our approach to conflict analysis studies will be through several analytical tools that will facilitate in identifying emerging threats

of conflict and indicate the possible opportunities for managing or resolving a conflict.

Moreover, the analysis insights are always a valuable tool in managing conflicts as they can be applied to some historical cases and relevant problem-based scenarios to enable us and our partners to differentiate among the various stages of the Conflict’s curve and practice mapping the generation, escalation and resolution of intrastate and international conflict. It will be our access to understand why some conflicts escalate to violence and what are the necessary conditions that should be considered to de-escalate the spark of any conflict.
